How the Service Works
Activity Inspection
We walk the property and identify active mole runways and mounds so the treatment targets the right zones.
Bait and Barrier Placement
Talpirid bait, shaped like an earthworm, is placed in active runways. Mole Scram granules are spread around the perimeter and high-pressure areas.
First Follow-Up
We come back 30-45 days after the initial service to check activity and re-treat where needed.
Year-Round Pressure Management
Recurring service about every 60 days keeps pressure on new moles that move in from neighboring properties.
How to Spot Mole Activity
Moles leave raised tunnel ridges just under the surface of your lawn and volcano-shaped soil mounds where they push dirt up from deeper tunnels.
If you see surface runways 1-2 inches wide with golf-ball-size burrow holes at the ends, you are looking at voles, not moles. Voles are covered under our general pest plans.
What You May See After Service
You may see MORE mole activity for 7-10 days after a service. That means the products are working. Moles push fresh dirt as they move through treated runways before the bait takes effect.
Honest Expectations
Moles are wild animals and there is no re-service warranty and no 100% guarantee with this program. Neighboring properties, soil type, weather, and irrigation all affect mole activity on your yard.
This service reduces and manages mole pressure. It does not promise a permanent fix. If you have questions about what the program can and cannot do, ask your technician before treatment.
