Lotus termite protection for homes across Missouri and Arkansas

Termite Protection That Treats the Whole Colony

Two proven programs for Eastern Subterranean Termites across Missouri and Arkansas. Trelona ATBS bait stations for ongoing monitored protection, or a liquid Termidor treatment for a long-lasting soil barrier. Licensed, warranted, and matched to your home.

Trelona ATBS Bait Stations

Ongoing, Monitored Whole-Colony Protection

We install Trelona ATBS bait stations in the ground around your home's perimeter, every 15 feet (up to 30 feet across large driveways). The active ingredient is novaluron, a chitin-synthesis inhibitor. Worker termites feed on the bait and share it through the colony through a process called trophallaxis, so the bait spreads on its own. Molting stops, and the colony collapses.

No trenching. No drilling. You get a year of protection from a single install, with an annual inspection, fresh bait, and a termite retreatment warranty: if Eastern Subterranean Termites are found in or around the home, Lotus returns and retreats at no cost.

  • In-ground stations every 15 feet around the perimeter
  • Up to 30 feet across large driveways
  • Interior and exterior inspection before install
  • Active ingredient novaluron, a chitin-synthesis inhibitor
  • Worker termites share the bait through the colony (trophallaxis)
  • Annual station inspection every 12 months
  • Bait replacement included
  • Termite retreatment warranty on Eastern Subterranean Termites

Coverage Honesty

We tell you exactly what the bait program protects against, and what it does not, before you sign anything.

Protects Against

  • Eastern Subterranean Termites (Reticulitermes)

Not Covered

  • Formosan termites
  • Drywood termites
  • Wood-boring beetles
  • Carpenter ants
  • Wood-decaying fungi

If your home shows signs of a species not on the protected list, we will tell you during the inspection and recommend the right path forward.

Liquid Treatment

Trench, Rod, and Structural Barrier

For homes that need immediate, longer-lasting protection, we install a continuous treated zone in the soil around the foundation. We trench where the soil allows, and rod or drill through slabs, porches, and other hardscape where it does not.

The active ingredient (Termidor / fipronil) cannot be detected by termites. They pass through the treated zone, pick up the active, and transfer it colony-wide as they move back through the colony. One well-done treatment can provide structural protection for up to ten years.

  • Continuous treated zone in the soil around the foundation
  • Rodding or drilling through slabs where needed
  • Termites cannot detect the treatment zone
  • Transfer through the colony after contact
  • Structural protection for up to ten years from one treatment
  • Custom-quoted after an on-site inspection

Custom-Quoted After Inspection

Liquid treatment pricing depends on linear footage of the foundation, slab conditions, and how much rodding or drilling is needed. We do not print a number that would not be honest for your home.

The free termite inspection is the first step. We measure, photograph problem areas, and put together a fixed quote before any work begins.

Bait vs. Liquid: Match the Treatment to the Home

Both programs work. The right choice depends on your home's construction, your timeline, and how you want to think about follow-up visits. Sometimes the right answer is both.

Spring Swarm Season in Missouri and Arkansas

Eastern Subterranean Termites swarm in the spring, when warm, humid weather wakes up mature colonies. Across our service area, the swarm window typically opens in March and stays open through July. A single swarm inside or around the home is one of the strongest signals that a colony is active nearby.

If you see swarmers, shed wings near doors and windows, or mud tubes on the foundation, do not disturb them. Call us. We will confirm what is happening and recommend the next step on the spot.

Licensed for Termite Work in Both States

Termite treatment is a regulated activity. Lotus holds the right categories in both Missouri and Arkansas, so the work is covered by state structural pest control licensing, not just general pest licensing.
