Cigarette Beetles
Cigarette beetles are small, oval, yellowish-brown to reddish-brown beetles named for their historical damage to stored tobacco products. Like drugstore beetles, they have an extremely broad diet that includes spices, flour, cereal, dried herbs, pet food, dried flowers, and non-food items like bookbindings and papier-mache. They are a worldwide pest of stored products and are commonly found in homes, warehouses, and food processing facilities. Their hunched, head-down posture when viewed from the side is a useful identification feature.

Key Behaviors
